As per our Vastu Shastra, the square, rectangle, Circular (only if the construction is also circular), shaped plots are the best ones; irregular, triangular plots always reflect bad energies. But, It is always advisable to do construction on a Vastu accommodated floor plan whether the plot shape is regular or irregular.

Plots that are narrow in front and wide in the rear are called Gaumukhi. And Plots that are broad in front and narrow at back are called as Shermukhi plot
However, Gaumukhi plots are considered very lucky for residential use, as the shape represents a cow, symbolizing the best of everything. Gaumukhi plots are narrow from the front and broad at the rear and Shermukhi plots are ideal for commercial purposes as it symbolizes the lion, which represents power, efficiency, and control.

"Now, Talking about our House plan which is the Gaumukhi plot facing East. This house plan has two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one is attached to the master bedroom and the other is common), a study room, two open to sky courtyards for natural light and cross ventilation in the entire house, a terrace garden in front-facing lawn, and a big living-dining hall with a large size kitchen. A separate shaft is introduced for ventilation in the service area. Also, Separate space for services like outdoor AC units etc is provided at the front side hiding behind elevation feature."
