Home Office Ideas

A small office/home office is a space designated in a person's residence for official business purposes. A dedicated space for work at the home helps to set aside household distractions and focus on work. 

Highlighted are some specific ways by which designing a home office with perfection:
  • Home office colours don’t have to be neutral. Colour can inject energy into a room, helping the inhabitant to feel motivated and inspired.
  • Choose the right furniture. This will be the place where you sit all day, you most definitely want to be comfortable when doing so. 
  • Decorative home offices with plants and greenery have a huge impact on people. Studies show that adding plants to your workplace can create better moods, job satisfaction, and healthier relationships. 
  • Never neglect the natural light. Try to place your desk in front of or near a window. The natural light allows space to feel bright and airy.
  • The home office has specific materials to use. so while making layout organize everything which needs to keep space tidy.
  • Make sure to allow enough space to work comfortably.
  • Have visitors during the day? If so then ideal to have separate spaces for meetings.

This home office plan has a sitting lounge, a director cabin, a restroom with an attached bathroom, and a staff room with an attached pantry. The client wanted to take advantage of the natural light and the view of Aravali hills in all the formal and informal spaces so we added maximum openings in all the areas. We have placed the desk in a place with plenty of natural light ensuring windows won't cause reflections on the computer screen as this could strain eyes. The terrace have a small gathering area and the view to enjoy Aravali hills.
